Group Training

Group training is a collaborative and interactive way of learning the Sima Process. It provides a cost-effective alternative to our one-on-one training.

Training in a Group

Group training is a three day training course, consisting ot theory and live client work together, usually in groups of 4-6. This is followed by individual supervision for each coach as they continue their coaching with five clients using the Sima Process.


Phase 1 - Introduction and Methodology

  • Introduction and brief history of the Sima Process and the system explained
  • The significance of core motivations and the 5 elements of the Sima Profile
  • Sima interviewing skills - eliciting achievement data and identifying behavioural patterns
  • Building an accurate Sima Client Profile and the Sima feedback method explained
  • Working successfully with the 5 elements of the Sima Profile
  • Different styles of coaching and effective interventions according to the client's motivation

Phase 2 - Live Client Coaching

  • Contracting, exploring the coaching objectives setting up the coaching frame
  • Exploring the organisational context and a client's wider context
  • Live achievement interviewing, supported motivational analysis and feedback
  • How to coach applying motivations, strengths and weaknesses
  • An overview of further advanced applications of the Sima Process
  • Review of learning

Phase 3 - On-going Support

  • Applying this approach to your practice
  • Going live with your own clients
  • Accessing supervision, our support and completing your learning journal
  • Certification process

Group training courses can be set up on request and be run 'in-house' or at our training facilities. We can arrange courses specifically designed with your organisation's coaching needs in mind.
