Getting Started

The starting point for simadirections is a free initial meeting or telephone conversation, in which your coach will introduce themselves, clarify your objectives and answer any questions or concerns you might have.

Your coach will send you a copy of the unique part of our programme called ‘Telling your Story’ and provide guidance on completing it. The information you provide will form the basis of the discussion about your abilities and motivations.

Subsequent meetings or telephone calls will be arranged at times which work for you and will be tailored towards your needs, but typically will start with an in-depth review of the ‘Telling Your Story’. Meetings are normally 1 to 2 weeks apart and last for 1 to 2 hours. You will be asked to do some preparatory work between meetings.

By the end of the programme, you will be clearer about who you are, what you want to do and how to present yourself effectively to potential employers.
