Nick Isbister

Nick has twenty years' experience as a management consultant and executive coach with major PLCs, professional partnerships and charities.

He is an experienced coach and has been involved in a variety of high-potential programmes, as a trainer on change management and stress and as a specialist in problem solving. Working with groups or on a one-to-one basis, Nick's particular skill lies in guiding others towards making the right decisions for them.

As Managing Director of Sima (UK) Ltd., he has pioneered the use of the SIMAŽ process in consultancy work, helping organisations and individuals to make the most effective use of people's natural abilities. He is also a partner of People Management International, LLC which is responsible for the practice of SIMAŽ worldwide.

Nick's first degree is in Natural Sciences and he has a PhD in Psychology from Cambridge University. He is the author of a book on Freud, as well as several articles on job fit issues and on maximising people's strengths within organisations. He is a coauthor of a book applying the SIMAŽ approach to career development, Who Do You Think You Are? published by Harper Collins in February 1999.
